We are pleased to announce that we have participated in a voluntary
re-accreditation survey through the Joint Commission on Accreditation
of Healthcare Organizations in order to remain compliant with JCAHO
standards. Dr. Stan Harper of The Joint Commission observed our facility on
Tuesday, December 13, 2005, during normal business hours. For
additional information about "Jayco," please call 630-792-3007.

On December 14, 2002, The Spine and Orthopaedic Medical Center
initially received Office-Based Surgery accreditation from the Joint Commission. In becoming accredited, The Spine and Orthopaedic Medical Center was evaluated against a set of national standards by a Joint Commission surveyor experienced in the delivery of Office-Based Surgery services. Achieving accreditation demonstrates The Spine and Orthopaedic Medical Center's commitment to provide high quality and safe care to its patients.
An independent, not-for-profit organization, the Joint Commission is the predominant standards setting and accrediting body in health care. Since 1975, the Joint Commission has developed state-of-the-art standards for outpatient office-based surgery organizations.
